Pro Series - Recommendations for IO box wiring

Recommendations for wiring MIDAS I/O Boxes to a MIDAS Pro Series Console or Engine:

Cables should always be set up and configured in sequential order. For example, DL251 ports 1,2, and 3 (A,B and C) should be connected and configured to ports 1,2 and 3 on the router/DSP PCBA respectively.

Correct cable connections are shown below.

When connecting I/O boxes to a Neutron engine fitted with a Neutron Expansion, you should configure each box so the all of the cables (main and redundant) are configured on the same PCBA in the Neutron engine. For example, When connecting and configuring a DL15X I/O box to a Neutron engine, you must connect both the main and redundant port to either DL561A (main router PCBA) or connect both to the Neutron NB card (do not split across PCB)
