Mercury V1i - How do I remove the trim ring from around the driver?

Your Tannoy Mercury V1i will include a trim ring as pictured below that will need removing to gain access to the driver.

Removing the chrome trim around the driver and other parts of the speaker can be very difficult without damaging the trim itself.
The best way to remove the trim is to use a small flat headed screwdriver and gently prize it off taking care not to damage the cabinet or the driver itself. If possible lay a cloth over the cabinet to prevent any damage.

If you are looking to replace the driver then all replacement drivers actually come with a replacement trim in case any damage is caused.

Should you require a replacement trim on its own or a replacement driver then please submit a query to a member of our support team who can check to see if we have any available.
