Ditto X2: Clearing a stored Track file

Question

How do I delete a store track file?

Answer

While you can clear the recording buffer any time using the footswitches, you have to hold the toggle switch in the upper position for 5 seconds in order to delete a Track file.

Note: Deleting the Track file will always delete all the audio recordings in your Ditto X2 (a fast red LED blinking sequence indicates the clearing procedure).

Tip: Once you have create a nice musical phrase/loop that you are happy with, store it to the Track folder. Now you can jam on top of it, and if you delete some outtakes, you can do this without clearing your nice initial loop. Once you store something on the pedal you can furthermore extract the loop as a .Wav or .Aiff file and import it into your DAW for further tweaking.
