Error message during registration: Authentication ID / serial number already in use

Question

I'm trying to register an optional PowerCore plug-in / PowerCore hardware that I bought second hand on TC My Account, and I'm getting the following message:

"The Serial Number / Authentication ID you entered seems to be in use already. Please doublecheck it and try again"

I checked it several times and it still doesn't work. What is going on?

Answer

Each optional PowerCore plug-in / PowerCore unit, can only be registered to one user at at time, and this error message is telling you that the product is already registered and therefore cannot be registered again.
