Flashback Triple Delay: Does not work with TonePrint Editor

Question

I would like to create my own TonePrints with my Flashback Triple Delay. Once I store to pedal, I do not hear any change in the effect. While I am able to send every Artist TonePrints to pedal, nothing happens with the TonePrint I created in the editor, even when I move the knobs on the pedal itself. It does not change anything.

Answer

The Flashback Triple delay has 3-delay engines. Thus in order to create your own TonePrints, you have to select the delay line you want to edit parameters with the mini toggle switch on the pedal itself. It is called Delay 1/2/3 selector switch.

To edit parameters of delay 1, first select delay 1 with the toggle switch on the pedal and you can see on the TonePrint Editor V.3.0:

  • Router 1
  • Delay 1
  • Modulation 1

Then you can modify settings for first delay engine. Move a knob on the Flashback Triple Delay and you will see the parameter changes in the editor page.

To edit parameters of delay 2, move the toggle switch to delay 2 on the pedal and now you can see on the TonePrint Editor:

  • Router 2
  • Delay 2
  • Modulation 2

Now you can modify settings for second delay engine. Move a knob of the pedal and you will see the connected parameter changes in the editor.

Simply do the same operation for delay 3 engine in order to edit settings of delay 3.

Once it's done and you are happy with your own TonePrint, you can store to the pedal the entire TonePrint with 3-delay's parameters.

Please download the newest version of the TonePrint Editor 3.0.00. It has been improved with a brand new interface, more simple and friendly. It is located here for free downloading.

Also please see the Flashback Triple Delay user manual. Especially on page 20 to learn more on the Delay 1/2/3 selector switch.
