Flashback X4: Resetting parameters and parameter ranges

Question

How to reset parameters on the Flashback X4?

Answer

To reset the parameters and parameter ranges assigned to a Flashback X4 Delay & Looper preset, proceed as follows:

  • Connect an expression pedal to the  EXP PEDAL jack on the Flashback X4 Delay & Looper
  • Switch on the Flashback X4 Delay & Looper
  • Choose the respective preset in which you want to reset exp pedal (A, B or C) on the Flashback X4 Delay & Looper
  • Set the expression pedal to the maximum position
  • Press and hold the footswitch for the previously chosen preset
  • The solid red light turns off for a while, flashes green four times, and then turns to solid red
  • Then set the expression pedal to the minimum position
  • Press again and hold the footswitch for the same preset
  • The solid red light turns off for a while, flashes green four times, and then turns to solid red

It's done. Now the exp pedal is reset and no longer effects that particular preset. To assign a parameter again please see the chapter "Assigning delay parameters and parameter ranges to an expression pedal" in the user manual.

This FAQ is for Flashback X4 but will work also for Alter Ego X4 and Flashback Triple Delay
