G-Major / G-Major 2: Losing settings when turning off

Question

When I turn the G-Major off and then later turn it on again all the modifiers are set to off again. the unit keeps the other mod menu settings in memory, but it will not keep the modifier settings.

Answer

In order to get the G-Major to remember all your system settings and presets, always make sure that you power off the G-Major on the front panel power switch.

The modifier MIDI CC or pedal assigment is stored globally. If you want the parameter assignment to a certain modifier to be stored (M1 for example to control the pitch mix %), you have to store the preset after you have set up the modifier. The modifier assignment is preset dependent.

The factory presets have modifier assignments by default. In the modifier section you set up which MIDI CC value or pedal controls which modifier. This is also stored globally.
