PowerCore 6000: Type of DSPs used

Question

Are DSPs and SRAM memory designs different from the rest of the PowerCores?

Answer

No, the DSPs as well as the SRAM memory structure in PowerCore 6000 is the same as with other PowerCores. All PowerCores are based on an SRAM memory structure, which is why they are so well suited for reverbs and delays.

At the same time, the Freescale DSPs offer massive DSP power for mastering tools and other DSP consuming operations.
