PowerCore: Audio is a little delayed after rendering

Question

If my audio file has ~100ms lead-in on the left edge, and we apply a PowerCore plug-in to it, the beginning of the resultant render in is chopped off. What's going on?

Answer

This is normal behaviour when using certain host programs, such as Wavelab, with PowerCore.

When you render something, the plug-ins that you use actually get instantiated again. The instantiation of the PowerCore plug-ins can take a little time, depending on the plug-in, which is why you see this muted part of the file, post render.

The workaround is to leave a bit of silence in the beginning of the file. After rendering simply cut this part away.
