PowerCore Element: Master X3

Question

The manual for my PowerCore Element says that once I've registered my card, I will be entitled to download Master X3, but I don't see it anywhere. Where can I get a hold of it ?

Answer

As the manual is identical for the PowerCore PCI and PowerCore Element, this is mentioned in the manuals for both cards -- however -- in the box for the PowerCore Element  you will also find a piece of paper describing, that the info in the manual only applies to the PowerCore PCI, not the PowerCore Element.

Master X3 is not available separately, nor will it run on the PowerCore Element.
Master X5 on the other hand, is an optional plug-in for the (entire) PowerCore family.

This is how you can see which kind of PowerCore you have:

  • If the serialnumber (to be found on a white sticker on the card itself) starts with 700xxxx, you have a PowerCore PCI.
  • If the serialnumber (to be found on a white sticker on the card itself) starts with 701xxxx, you have a PowerCore Element.
