PowerCore: How to install drivers without optional plug-ins on Mac OS X

Question

I have a PowerCore Element / PCI,  the trial period for plug-ins does not work with my type of PowerCore. How I can avoid installing the optional plug-ins?

Answer

Doing a standard installation, will install both included and optional plug-ins, so you need to do a custom installation.

If you have already installed PowerCore driver version 2, and wish to remove please see this FAQ for more information.

  1. Run the PowerCore 2.x installer and go through the steps until you reach this screen:

  2. Click the 'Customize ' button:

  3. Click the triangle next to 'PowerCore Plug-ins' and un-check 'PowerCore Optional Plug-ins':
