With Spark 2.5, this is rather easy to solve, you just need to copy the I/O Device's ASIO driver into the SPARK or SPARK XL "Add ASIO Drivers Folder"
There are two ways to add your I/O Device's ASIO driver to SPARK 2.5.
- The simple method is to drag the ASIO driver for your soundcard to the "Add ASIO Drivers" folder. Be sure to do this before launching SPARK. Please note that this requires that you have Apple Script enabled on your computer. A dialog will pop-up prompting you to "Cancel", "Remove Drivers" or "Add Drivers". Select "Add Drivers". The next screen will provide you with a list of installed ASIO drivers. Select "OK" to quit the application and return to the finder. The next time you launch Spark, your newly added ASIO driver will be available from your I/O Preferences.
- To manually access the ASIO drivers folder, control click the "Spark.app" and select "Show Package Contents" from the pop-up dialog. Once inside the "Spark.app" folder, open the contents folder, followed by the MacOSClassic folder. Here you will find the ASIO drivers folder. Simply copy your ASIO drivers and any required control panels into this folder. When you are finished, control click the "Spark.app" and select "Hide Package Contents" from the pop-up dialog.
