Video: Tweaking Mac OS X to improve performance with Konnekt

Question

Are there any tweaks that can made in Mac OS X to improve performance with the Konnekt audio interfaces?

Answer

Mac OS X generally doesn't require much tweaking. However there are two things you can try if you experience issues:

  • Set the 'Safety Buffer' in the TC Near System Settings to 'Large',
  • Disable FireWire as a network option under System Preferences > Network.
