With PowerCore under Mac OS X the 'Configure' button does not work

Question

When I go to the System Preferences in Mac OS X, select POWERCORE and click the Configure button, nothing happens. What is going on?

Answer

This seems to be an issue related to Mac OS X versions above 10.3.5 and can be resolved by doing the following:

  1. Go to /Applications and double-click the POWERCORE control panel manually.
