VoiceLive 2: Loop Mono Ouput Mode

As we created firmware updates for VoiceLive 2, users asked for more flexibility in determining output mode. That brought up some requests to control the amount of looping time, which can be affected by the various output mode choices. We added Loop Mono to the options.

Here's a breakdown of how the output modes work:

  • Stereo - Stereo L+R output with 30 seconds of Stereo Looping. Undo OFF will double the Stereo Loop to 60 seconds.
  • Mono - Left "Wet" and Right "Dry" output with 60 seconds of Mono Looping on the "Wet" output. Undo OFF will double the Mono loop to 120 seconds. In this mode, the Dry will be mixed with the Wet in the loop.
  • Dual Mono - Guitar Left, Vocals right output with 60 seconds of Mono looping, via the Vocal out channel. Undo OFF will double the looping time to 120 seconds. In this mode, the Vocals will be mixed with the Guitar in the loop.
  • Loop Mono - Left "Wet" and Right "Dry" output with 30 seconds of Stereo Looping. In this case, Stereo means 2 channels of looping, one for the Wet and one for the Dry channels. That way, you can still control the mix between wet/dry at the FOH. Undo OFF will double the looping time to 60 seconds.
