VoiceWorks: 'Stage' and 'Studio' bypass modes explained

Question

What is the difference between the settings 'Stage' and 'Studio' for bypassing on the VoiceWorks?

Answer

The difference is the following:

  1. When set to 'Stage', the level you have set for your lead voice, is the same when the VoiceWorks is bypassed and not bypassed. If you for instance attenuate it by a few dBs, the level for the lead voice will also be attenuated in bypass mode, to avoid level differences.
  2. When set to 'Studio', the level you have set for your lead voice is ignored, and the lead voice is output at the same level as it was input. This means that you -- depending on how you set up the level for your lead voice -- can experience a level difference when bypassing.
